Professor of Medicine at the Institute of Environmental Medicine and Head of Unit of Immunology and Chronic Disease. Main research interest is how different types of lipids, mainly phospholipids, activate immune reactions and how these affect atherosclerosis, cardiovascular disease, and inflammation in general. The research is both experimental and clinically oriented.
